In order to integrate a Honeywell vista security panel with URC, a 4232CBM board is required. If it is not installed correctly, the installer will get an error. Different errors can occur if the 4232CBM is miss wired or the RS-232 cable is not terminated correctly.
- "Requesting info from panel"- This means that our interface is communicating with the panel for configuration.
- "Requesting number of zones in partition"- The module is requesting zone configuration.
- "Communication error check 4232CBM "- Check the RS-232 connection to the 4232CBM , assure that the cable used is a URC green RS-232 cable.
- If the cable was made by an installer check and be sure it is terminated correctly.
- Check to see if they are using the latest version of the module.
