The TRC-820 is unique to the Total Control family because it contains a shortcuts button. This is a user edited shortcuts button meaning the customer can add/edit/delete these buttons whenever the customer wants.
The Boxed Triangle button on the top left of the TRC-820 next to the power button is there to create shortcuts. Shortcuts can be made for quick access to other options from within any activity/devices without going back to the main page.
Examples of what can be made into a shortcuts:

Z-Wave functions (direct access to lights/locks/scenes…) Modes on UI7
Cameras
Power Menu

- Click the boxed triangle
- Click add
- choose what activity/jump
- customize position
- Edit on the fly in the future
