Teaching Dish Network Boxes to Work with URC MX Remotes

Dish Network Boxes require a specified IR address/ID.  If a user adds additional Dish Network remotes to an already installed system, the URC IR frequency must be re-addressed.  

To learn a URC MX remote frequency, follow the steps below:

  1. Click "Menu"-6-1-8 on the Dish remote and select/highlight the IR address.
  2. Hit the record button on the URC MX Remote. This teaches the Dish network box the IR frequency the URC MX remote is using.
