Symptom:
While using the volume up and down buttons within the Denon Heos two-way module, volume commands are only sent at 0.5db per button press. This can make adjusting volume time consuming and frustrating. Currently, this is the way the TCM two-way module is written.
Solution:
To enable the DMS-AV to work with volume ramping, press-and-hold the volume button +/- while in the Denon Heos module for 3+ seconds. This displays the volume pop-up window and now allows for volume ramping.
To enable volume ramping for HEOS on Non-URC 3rd party AV device:
In Step 13: Punch Through select the Punch To for the Main Menu to Punch From the AVR that is controlling the specified room/zone. To access the volume ramping, select MAIN on the interface and utilize the Volume +/- buttons for volume ramping. To access the Heos module again, click the Now Playing button (if available).
